pollarded planes

I have an obsession with these trees. So much so, I wanted to know what they were actually called and why they were like this. Years ago I took a photo of them around Tate Britain and now I can’t stop seeing them. I give you, London Plane trees, pollarded to stop them growing super bloody massive. There are examples of this massive growth along the road next to Victoria Tower Gardens, just before the Palace of Westminster. I see them everywhere now and I love them because they are weird and absorb pollution.

Taken with my Olympus Trip 35 camera on Agfa Vista 400 film.
